Established in 2010 in Melbourne, Genuine Designer Wear – or GDW for short – came into existence out of a passionate desire to source the finest quality genuine and exotic designer underwear and specialist menswear for every man – around Australia and throughout the world.

Genuine Designer Wear’s creators, young Melbourne entrepreneur Trent Farrell, and UK-born graduate student Harry Cowper-Smith, firmly believe that every man deserves to look as stylish, masculine and sexy on the outside as he knows he is on the inside – and that's why Genuine Designer Wear exists!

Trent and Harry set out on a mission to find the most beautiful and stylish range of contemporary underwear for men, made from only the finest materials by some of the world’s most recognised and ground-breaking designers – all of whom know the importance of keeping your most valuable assets supported and comfortable.

The designers we bring together here use the best in modern design technology, such as Andrew Christian's ‘Anti-Muffin Top’ elastic, anatomically correct underwear, butt- and package-enhancing styling. No longer will women be the only ones to benefit from wardrobe tricks!
